Two part process - first is group exercise through Teams, quite easy, just need to talk to other members. Second is more formal interview - mix of competency based questions and short job specific questions, definitely need to prepare for tech questions

Submitted an application online and then met with a recruiter for first round interview. They asked some behavioral questions and went over what the job was. It took about 30 minutes and the recruiter was very nice. The tone of the interview was more conversational which I liked. I am giving the rating a negative experience because the recruiter “promised” me that they would get back to me in 5 days and empathized with me about the struggles of a job search. I have emailed them asking for an update after 5 days, and as I am writing this, it’s been over a week with no response. Normally I wouldn’t care about the timing, but it was disappointing to hear a recruiter relate to me about companies ghosting candidates, tell me multiple times they would get back to me within 5 days, and then not doing so after I had followed up. All in all, it really isn’t a big deal, but I think the recruiter needs to give more realistic expectations for the interview process and be more specific with their words. The recruiter was really nice and it was a good interview experience, but I feel slighted now and wanted to share my experience.
