Simple but detailed interview process for the HR round and Reporting Manager round. Received clarity and discussed my fit for role. Overall a great interaction.

Salary and position were discussed before setting up an interview. Recruiter said salary could definitely be met but then came in significantly lower but with a better position title. I decided to move ahead with the interview but when it was scheduled the position title was a couple steps down from what was discussed. I decided to not move forward with the interview. Had the recruiter been honest from the start I would have likely continued with the process but it was a disingenuous start and sent up a bunch of red flags.
