I was contacted by a recruiter from A.T. Kearney about this position via LinkedIn. We scheduled a phone call the same week which lasted about 30 minutes and briefly went over my background and qualifications. I was then brought in the following week to meet with 4 people on the marketing team, each interview lasting around 30 minutes with the overall interview time being 2 hours. Everyone was very kind and apologized for there being such a long interview process. However, after the in person interview, there was no follow up as to what next steps would be. After two weeks of not hearing back, I contacted the recruiter and received no response.
I had to take time off from my current job to go in to meet with the team and was excited about the role. I was dissatisfied with the lack of communication at the end of the process. It's common courtesy to let an interview candidate know if the hiring manager has decided to pursue another candidate.
