3 step interview process (with one surprise additional interview), including an unpaid homework assignment over the course of 2+ months. Recruiter screening and chat with the hiring managers were great. Homework assignment was unfortunately unclear and changed on me during the interview process, along with the role changing from full-time to a contract position, which I was still interested in. Was also surprised with an additional final interview by a member of the marketing team. This person asked a lot of questions you are legally not allowed to ask candidates which left a bad taste in my mouth. A week after the final interview, I received an email that they were no longer hiring for the position altogether and that "they decided to move in another direction." I had an amazing experience up until the final interviewer, but it sounds like the company still isn't sure what it wants for its marketing team so I probably dodged a bullet.
