we have to take a finger printing scan and we have to go through orientation to discuss the do's and dont's. We then have to take an assessment test to get a certificate to start working as a substitute teacher.

Very simple. I was hired on the spot to substitute teach in my chosen district. It was a group interview and everyone was hired. We then talked about the hiring process and how to continue with the required training courses.
