It was very easy progress. I was hired and asked to take classes within 1 hour of being "hired", aka my background check was cleared.

Very simple. I was hired on the spot to substitute teach in my chosen district. It was a group interview and everyone was hired. We then talked about the hiring process and how to continue with the required training courses.
