I believe I dodged a bullet when I wasn't offered the position. My experience was one of the worst interviews I had, which explains their high turnover.
I applied online and was contacted via email by one of their recruiters to schedule me for a phone interview with their Talent Acquisition Lead from Mississauga. Weirdly, I was also asked for the year/s I finished my studies which was a subtle confirmation of what I heard that they prefer younger/new grad candidates.
Day of the phone interview comes, and having the extensive CS experience made me easily feel a person's mood/vibe base on their voice even over the phone. Not sure if it's part of a test, but she switches from following an interview question script to suddenly interrogating me (questioned me 2-3 times why I'm not pursuing my other previous job roles with a condescending tone), which made me confused on why I was even shortlisted. It was obvious she didn't read my resume prior to the interview and was being straight up bias.
I answered all questions politely and remained polite throughout, but her mood swings were unprofessional and clearly shows the kind of management and work environment they have. The various online presence that contains negative employee reviews and applicant feedbacks makes much more sense now.
