This role is disguised as a Marketing Coordinator, but it's really Graphic Design because they don't want to pay you as a designer. It's misleading. My process was a screen call and two rounds of interviews. I thought the hiring manager was friendly with great communication until she completely disappeared. When I emailed her and the office manager, they didn't care to reply. It's about respect.

1st interview was excellent. I met with Jim Lovstead via Zoom back in May 2023 (very delayed review but I need to add a review to continue on Glassdoor) and talking to him was easy. He was very get to the point about the position, he was a great listener, and answered all my questions with ease, and was great at asking me questions about my experience. Based on how this interview went, I had high hopes for the position. He told me that I would now meet with the team manager and her assistant over zoom. That day comes and I’m super excited and was expecting a great interview since Jim was great!! Boy, was I wrong. I click the zoom link 5 minutes before since I wanted to show that I am more than punctual. 10 minutes go by and nothing. The interviewers are late. Eventually after waiting 15 minutes, the main interviewer (who would be my manager) joins and tells me the other interviewer is running late. Instead of asking me questions while we wait for the other guy, she mutes me for 5-8 minutes. At that point, I’m a little hurt because I did request the day off my other job so I can fully prepare for this meeting. Interviewer #2 joins, and starts talking about how he was running late because of this and that and I’m just there smiling saying it’s ok, but was pretty disappointed that he didn’t even apologize. Interviewer #1 unmutes me and tells interviewer #2 “umm… what do you got for her?” And he looks thrown off and asks “have you started it yet?” She says no, that we were waiting. He looks a bit confused but took the hint to just start asking me questions. Well, his questions were very confusing. He starts asking me if I’ve worked with this software and that software, which none of the names were familiar. I told him that I am not aware but asked him how would he compare them to the ones I’ve provided in my experience? He did not like that I have not used the ones he named, so he asked “and you interviewed with jim, already?” I said yes, and that it was great. I think he thought I already had kidder Matthew’s experience, because he didn’t know what else to ask me. He then asks how long have I been in marketing and I told him “2 years” both him and interviewer 1 (who practically didn’t say anything the entire time) both sigh and yep, that right there I knew was the sign that I was out. I panicked and started trying to defend my experience and how I can be a great addition to the team since I really do enjoy what I do. They both just stare and don’t say much. Interviewer #2 asks me why I should be hired as the last question and I tell them because I know I am a great team worker and has significantly improved in real estate marketing those 2 years, and I wanted to continue my work with a big company like kidder Matthew’s. Again, dead silence. Interviewer #1 finally speaks and says “good luck to ya” I can’t remember their names, but interviewer #1 was extremely cold and uninterested in me the moment she joined zoom. I was so distraught after the meeting that I did cry because I couldn’t believe these were the people who judged if I was good enough for the role or not. One was running late, the other one didn’t give af. Extremely unprofessional.
