The absolute worst candidate experience I've ever experienced. The screening round went as expected and I found out 2 days after, I moved on to the next round. I scheduled the interview for 1.5 weeks out due to other obligations and to give myself some time to prep. 3 hours before the interview I get an automated email saying the team reviewed my application again and decided not to move forward, followed by a cancelled interview invite. What an absolute joke of a process. Clearly this company does not have their internal processes figured out. Do better and align on team expectations before wasting candidate's precious time. This left such a bad taste in my mouth, I will never work for this company. Save yourself the trouble and apply elsewhere.

Behavioral rounds are easy. You can bs through your past experiences. The technical case is tough. The data scientist from other team runs you through an AB test case that felt like an actual experiment they ran not some made up scenario. The quality of the case was impressive. You have to go through each metric and explain what it means. He asekd me to really take time and think through the numbers a few times in the intervieview. I couldnt apply the typical consulting framework or case interview process as it sounded like a real business case and data were real. The interviewer was not really a small talk guy which caught me off guard at first. But when I was clearly going in the wrong direction he didnt just move on. He asked something that made me stop and rethink. I didnt appreciate it in the moment honestly. Walked out thinking I bombed it. Was kind of annoyed at myself. But I kept thinking about it and honestly part of me just wanted to work with someone like that. You can tell when someone actually knows what they are doing. He also mentioned the company works bottom up and encourages using claude code which made me want to join the team even more. Study the prep package they send you. Brush up on pvalues and statistical significance. Dont try to fake your way through the numbers
