Entrevista
I applied to the position online and about two or three weeks later, I received an email offering an interview. I met with the Education Studio Director and was given a tour of the studio. We then had a one on one interview and talked mostly about large abstract ideas related to the position. It was a pretty interesting/intense interview because I felt like I was really being tested on what I knew about teaching art and what I could bring to the museum. It's a pretty small (not many hours) job but a very in-depth and challenging interview. I sincerely enjoyed it, even so. I was asked to think over the discussion and if I was still interested to turn in paperwork for a background check. I did. I got an email a week or so later saying they were very interested but had offered the job to someone else. They did want to keep my resume for future positions, though.
