Initial brief phone interview led to a in-person interview. In-person interview was with three current employees. The position was advertised falsely as a financial analyst position. What they were looking for was an entry level project account. While I was suspecting to be tested on basic financial questions relating to balance sheets and perhaps some Excel modeling tests. Instead, I was faced with career questions. Normally questions like these would of been relatively easy to answer. However, I was a little angry about the bait and switch, and in attempting to not show how upset I was, I likely appeared nervous and a little distressed. Regardless, I still wanted to know what kind of progression the position could lead to. Unfortunately, the interviewers were not able to answer very well and had to keep turning to me to ask questions of them. After the interview had concluded, I knew marginally more details about the position than I had known before. For what it's worth, the interviewers were overall pleasant. I have not received an offer. In the event I do, I will decline.

Recruiter reached out and requested availability. Scheduled call and had basic screening questions and discussed position and resume. Recruiter mentioned would reach out if the team was interested in next my experience. Never received call back but received rejection email.
