The entire interview process took an hour, they asked questions about my interest in the position, what my best qualities are, etc. They went on to ask hypothetical situations such as "What would you do if a toddler was throwing a fit? What if a parents had complaints? How would you handle a school-aged child swearing?" They then showed me around the building and introduced me to the kids. After the interview they admitted that their open positions would not work with my school schedule, but they sent my information to other locations they considered "good" around the area. I got a call the next week from one of these other locations saying I was "highly recommended" and they wanted me to start ASAP. I went in the next day to meet with this new team. The location manager had explained that I have the job, it's just a matter of corporate approving of the offer. Both locations seemed to have a lack of communication with each other and with corporate. I am still waiting on the official offer, but they seemed to be willing to work with me on my school schedule (I am a graduate student taking night classes) and my wage requirements (12.50/hour). Overall a good experience!

Applied and someone reached out to me to fill out a form then an interview was scheduled for the following week. Answered some questions then I was given a tour of the preschool. Was given an offer a few days later.

The recruiter sent you an email and asked you if you are interested in a certain position. If you reply yes, then you would have an interview through the phone first with the recruiter, then the center director in-person interview. It's a pretty straightforward interview process if you have the related experience.

The director of this center is unorganized and unprofessional and most of her staff were rude as a first impression. The first thing noticed was the dirty lobby floor, the place is neat enough to ‘pass,’ yet dingy enough to make you question their real processes. Suggestions had to be made to the director in order for her to offer a more thorough hiring process; she was trying to hire without even providing a tour and classroom observation - that was a huge red flag. She also requested information that was previously provided to her, which demonstrated a mishandling of sensitive information. Lastly, the pay offered is AWFUL. The experience was similar at two other Kindercare locations - messy/somewhat unclean environment and rude/unprofessional staff.
