Skype interview with a professor for a position in his research group. He asked about related work. Then asked basic electronics (BJT, Biasing etc ), and about Electromagnetics. In the end, he accepted me as his student and gave me an overview of the coming selection rounds ( Two interviews )

Applied for PhD in visual computing. Uploaded my CV, diplomas, statement of purpose and references. Wrote an email to Professor. After about couple weeks I was contacted for online interview through Skype. The interview was easy.
