First I met with the HR Director, Janice Klaiber, a very sweet, professional and informative lady who truly knows her stuff and sold me on the whole Kittle's Culture within minutes. Their culture is specifically driven by Servant Leadership which I had the luxury of working in that culture before so I knew it would be a good company. She then sent me to the actual store to meet the store manager I would be working for. He too was a very kind man with lots of experience and knowledge in the business. The one thing I liked about him is he didn't try to sell a sales person. In other words he was very real about the type of salary I would make and didn't make up numbers. And the numbers he told me matched with other salary reviews I have read on this very site! Who wouldn't want to work for an honest person?!?!?

I had sold furniture at other places before so we mostly talked about my experiences there. And from that we both decided I'd be a good fit for Kittles!
Thank you for your kind words! I know you will enjoy your career here. Your Managers have a lot of experience and knowledge about the business they will teach everyday at Kittle's!

First of all, Kittle's will hire anybody that walks through their doors and applies for a job. NO EXPERIENCE OF ANY KIND NEEDED It's a joke. The interview process was a joke. The entire company was a joke. I walked in one day and applied. I walked out with the job. They are desperate to flood the floor with consultants. I wish I had known of Glassdoor.com before applying. It would have saved me years of stress and headache.
Kittle's has many commission sales persons who have been here for over 30 years. On the other hand, we have some that were hired this week. When our new associates learn about how we pay commission sales persons, they are impressed! Commission Sales is not for everyone. Hopefully, you find other positive employment opportunities at Kittle's on our internal postings or for another employer.

Entrevista
The interviewer asked about my previous sales experience as well as my furniture knowledge. I did not have either, but I was hired anyway and trained. The interview was not stressful and I did not feel overly nervous during the process.
