Went through multiple rounds of interviews and an assignment; post assignment, had another conversation with a different team member about a role unrelated to the one I applied for. No explanation given until I explicitly asked. Was told my assignment ‘fell short’ although the prompts were vague. Interviewers were kind initially but communications at the end were not great.
