This review actually pertains to the application itself, which felt more like an interview. Lots of focus on me proving myself to them, references to "knocking their socks off." Obviously an applicant should want to put his/her best foot forward, but the company should make the applicant feel welcome, too. The application includes testing on how to search for candidates and then presenting the candidates via the application.

The application asks you to upload a resume and cover letter (of course) explaining why you are a "born business matchmaker" (as if we were all business matchmaking when we were in diapers). Questions about favorite recruitment tools and why. "Challenge" questions in which you are given 5-10 minutes to find 3 candidates with very specific skillset and portfolio makeup. Also, the candidates cannot have a full-time job. Then you'll provide a link to their portfolio. To me, it almost seems like they are maybe using job applicants to do their sourcing for them? This is when I decided I wouldn't be moving forward with this application.
