By far, the most unprofessional of candidate search/interview/HR processes I have encountered in any organization. Staff conducting interviews will disengenuously present themselves as perky, amicable, interested, etc. throughout an extensive interview session(s). Yet, in this case a form rejection email was issued to candidate *during extreme after-business hours* [meaning "in the middle of the night/early a.m.], mere hours after an interview had been conducted.
The issue here is not the rejection but (i) disingenuousness of conduct on the part of the staff members, (ii) frankly, sleazy practice in the individual/s choosing to send rejection communication after-hours in order to avoid potentially having dialogue with candidate re: same, and (iii) in this case, staff conducting the interview explicity stated that they were "just beginning the interview process." Clearly, if the staff were serious in their review of candidates they would wait until multiple candidates had been met with before beginning any review/assessment.
As is evident from both past employee reviews and other candidate reviews of this organization appearing on this site, Kokosing has demonstrated that it is blatantly clique-ish (others have also pointed out the existence of nepotism) and insular.
My personal recommendation is that potential candidates devote their energies to firms deserving of consideration, which Kokosing clearly is not in any way.

Interviewed for an HR internship through a virtual Microsoft Teams call. The interview was conducted as a phone-style call with no camera required.
The interview was straightforward and focused on getting to know the candidate’s background, motivation, and understanding of HR concepts. The recruiter asked several basic behavioral and introductory questions, such as:
“Can you walk me through your resume?”
“Tell me about yourself.”
“Why are you interested in pursuing an internship?”
Questions about familiarity with HR functional areas such as:
employee relations
talent acquisition
talent management
HR communications
Wanted to know whether candidates had exposure to HR concepts through coursework, work experience, or both, and how those experiences shaped their interest in the field.

Easy, Basically just a relaxed conversation with a project manager. Seemed to want to know who you are over skillset. I also only spoke to them at a job fair in college and was hired on after that
