Cleared the online take-home coding round and advanced to a technical interview with a Staff Engineer, which went incredibly well. Unfortunately, HR completely ghosted me afterward, no feedback, yes, or no. Be warned: this job is being frequently reposted on job boards, suggesting it might just be a ghost or spam JD rather than an active hire. While the engineering team is highly professional, the recruitment process lacks basic accountability and respect for a candidate's time. Don't waste your energy.

Online coding assessment involving prompt engineering with AI code tool assistance.
Deep-dive architecture and technical implementation questions during the call with the Staff Engineer.
Very typical. Three rounds, one panel and case study. The team interviewing me was great, informative and explained all about the position. Granted it then changed immediately due to a restructuring.

The interview process at Komodo Health was smooth, well organized, and moved at a good pace throughout. The process started with a recruiter screening, followed by a hiring manager interview, teammate/culture interviews, a case study presentation with a panel, and a final interview with leadership/VP level team members.
Everyone I interacted with was professional, respectful, and transparent about timelines and expectations from the beginning. Communication was consistent throughout the process, and I always felt informed about next steps.
The case study was one of the better interview exercises I’ve experienced because it felt relevant and practical rather than overly theoretical. The expectations were clearly defined upfront, and it was an opportunity to really showcase how you think and approach problems. You definitely get out of it what you put into it.
Overall, the process felt thoughtful, straightforward, and respectful of candidates’ time.
