Thank you for your candid review of our interview process and I'm sorry you felt so negatively towards our team and our opportunity. In defense of our "scrum master", you, in fact, were speaking with a long standing engineering manager who has been critical to the success of our innovation for the past 3 years. I followed up with her after reading your post and she admits to not using the correct phrasing. Instead of saying "experienced in our domain", she wishes she said, "interested in our domain". While I understand it's difficult to receive candid feedback, especially in an interview, you simply didn't show interest in the work you have already done in your career, nor the work that we are doing here at Kong. Not every company is the right fit for an engineer, nor is every engineer the right fit for every company. We wish you the best in your career journey and hope that you find an environment you can enjoy.
