A really bad interview experience. After being headhunted on LinkedIn by the CEO, I went through a rigorous four-round interview process. The CEO was my main point of contact throughout, and her encouragement gave me high hopes for the role. Each stage of the process became more intense, and I felt increasingly invested. Then... silence. When I followed up, I was told the process was on pause and advised to be patient. Months later, after numerous times when I contacted them and was told to be patient, I requested feedback, only to be told it couldn’t be shared as the interviews might resume. Ultimately, nothing came of it, leaving me incredibly disappointed after the CEO had built up my expectations and didn't even get any feedback.
