Pros: interview process straightforward, feedback after each round
Cons: agreed on a minimum salary expectation from the 1st conversation as a condition to move forward, after a full round of interview process which lasted 1 month, I was offered a package which was 20k less than the amount from 1st conversation, because "non direct experience in the energy industry" - I was quite confused because this information was clear on my CV from the get go.
Low balling at last round is not professional, other industry experiences not considered is not reasonable. If they told me this salary from the start, I would have said "thank you, but no" - I guess waste of time on both sides.
It's a shame since I really believed in their mission and culture. But I guess interview process could be looked like as a reflection of the "chaotic side" they mentioned in their culture.
Le processus d’entretien a été rapide et fluide. Tout le monde est très professionnel, en particulier l’équipe RH, qui est réactive et attentive tout au long du processus. J’ai passé plusieurs entretiens avec l’équipe, incluant un approfondissement de mon expérience et une étude de cas qui m’a permis de mieux comprendre le poste et ses enjeux.

I went through a 3-stage recruitment process over the course of one month, and the experience was clear, structured, and efficient.
Initial HR interview with the Talent Lead
→ Overview of the role, expectations, and Kraken’s ways of working. Clear and well-organised discussion.
Role-focused interview with 2 Client Delivery Leads
→ In-depth conversation about the position, responsibilities, and delivery culture. Helpful to understand how different teams operate.
Case study prepared in advance and presented to two Regional Practice Leads
→ Relevant and realistic exercise focused on problem-solving, ownership, and communication.
Communication was consistent throughout the process, timelines were respected, and expectations were transparent.
I received an offer after the final interview, and overall the process was very professional and smooth.

Entrevista
Intro call with HR, behavioral interview with 2 CDLs, case interview with another 2 CDLs, interview with hiring manager. Overall the process was extremely fast, clear, and gave a great understanding of the culture of the company and responsibilities of the role.
