During the discussion, the managers stated that the role offered no growth opportunities and openly acknowledged high turnover at the site. Combined with the compensation range published in the job listing, this reinforced concerns about the position and confirmed my decision not to proceed. The interview made it difficult to view this role as a legitimate career opportunity, as it appeared more likely to stall a career than launch one.
