The interview took place via a Zoom call. It was mostly good as the role itself seemed like a nice fit for me. However, the salary on the job description is inaccurate and this needs to be revisited. The amount that I was seeking was within the range. But, I was informed that the team has a range that differs than what is on the job description. This is a dishonest practice that needs to be rectified. If employers expect applicants to be honest, then they too should be honest especially when it concerns disclosing a salary range within a job description.
