The interview process was pretty straightforward: (1) applied online; (2) had a phone screen; (3) interviewed with the hiring manager; (4) met with a couple of team members and stakeholders. However, after my last interview, there has been no communication from LPL. Despite following up with the recruiter three times, I did not receive a response whatsoever. I was genuinely enthusiastic about the role and LPL's vision and mission until I was suddenly ghosted. I believe that companies should handle this situation better. Ghosting candidates, particularly after they have completed multiple rounds of interviews, is entirely unprofessional. There appears to be a lack of empathy from the recruiters. Ultimately, candidates are human beings and should be treated with greater professionalism and respect. Regardless of the outcome or update from the hiring team, candidates should receive timely updates, especially if it has been a couple of weeks. Recruiters and HR professionals, please avoid leaving candidates in limbo. Treating candidates with respect is crucial because it influences the image they hold of your esteemed company.
