It was just bizarre. It was like they were trying SO HARD to impress. I fell for it but I had a gut feeling that they laid on the sugar just a bit too much. I should have listened to my gut because the overly sweet kindness and promises were all used to make me feel comfortable and liked...only to be used to defraud me later because I trusted them.
