Candidatei-me por meio de recrutador(a). O processo levou 2 semanas. Fui entrevistado pela Lab Consulting Partnership (Houston, TX) em dez. de 2024

The interview process started off straightforward, I spoke with a recruiter and then moved on to an onsite interview. However, my experience during the final stage with partner Andy Lee was disappointing. He was abrupt, interrupted me frequently, and ended the interview prematurely, which felt unprofessional.
Additionally, while I was encouraged to move through the interview process quickly, the follow-up afterward was severely lacking. Despite reaching out after the holidays, I have yet to receive any feedback or a final decision, which comes across as unresponsive and disrespectful of a candidate's time and effort.
This experience left me with a negative impression of the firm's recruitment process, which was particularly disappointing because I was initially enthusiastic about the opportunity to join the team.

This was the most unprofessional interview I’ve ever had. The link provided in my interview invitation for the phone number connected me to a company employee rather than the “hiring manager.” The employee was very rude and short with me, asking how I got this number and gave me the correct one so quickly that I would obviously not be able to write it down. Then he hung up on me! I reported this to the person interviewing me and his response was “Oh, he must be having a bad day,” and laughed. This was a major red flag.
My interview was painful. I got the impression that the person interviewing me had no prior experience or training on how to interview people. He asked about 3 questions and seemed to be struggling, so I basically ended up leading the interview by asking him questions. He actually told me halfway through the interview that he didn’t know which position I applied for! I asked what a typical day/week was like in the position and he reluctantly immediately said - a lot of travel. So I had to as more probing questions for details. I also asked about the training process- and he said I would basically sit in the office Monday through Thursday looking at co-worker’s previous projects and maybe see a director on Fridays since that’s the only time they’re available. I noticed on LinkedIn that there were almost no employees who had been with the company for over a year- so I asked about what professional background most people come to the company with and was told that they target candidates with a couple years of professional experience who know how to carry themselves.
I actually had to ask if he had any other questions or topics to discuss in order to end the interview. It was super awkward and unprofessional. I never received any type of follow-up either- but would definitely not accept an offer if I received one.

Phone interview, then face to face with multiple people in the home office. The whole process took about 3 weeks. I would say that the process was in line with my expectations. No big surprises during or after the interviews.
