Candidatei-me online. O processo levou 4 semanas. Fiz uma entrevista na empresa Lab49.
Entrevista
I first received a phone screen from the recruiting manager. Then I got another call with a senior designer, mostly talking about my background and questions about Lab49. Then I got called for in person interview, with hours of challenging design exercise and some HR talks.

Pergunta 1
The design exercise was quite challenging, especially for the candidate who doesn't have any financial background
Candidatei-me por indicação de um funcionário. Fui entrevistado pela Lab49 (New York, NY) em fev. de 2017
Entrevista
Friendly and professional, all the interviewers knew UX very well, smart people asking smart questions. Everyone was warm and welcoming. The entire process took over 2 months but HR kept in constant contact to inform me of how things were progressing. I had a portfolio presentation, a white boarding exercise, followed by a visual design exercise and final phone interview.

How would you interact with a client if they talked to you in some financial jargon you don't understand?
Candidatei-me por meio de recrutador(a). O processo levou 1 dia. Fui entrevistado pela Lab49 (Washington, DC) em abr. de 2015
Entrevista
One of the worst interviews I ever had. It all started out as a great discussion during the phone screen with a NYC employee. Arriving in person at the DC office, however, was a different story. I had a Skype interview with one of the DC managers and that went well but when meeting him in person he hadn't even reviewed my portfolio or my resume. This is after saying over Skype I was the perfect candidate. How is that possible? Very confusing. Not only that but he was very condescending in person. My expectation was to review some of my work, share my process and then do a white board session. They went straight to the test and it was mostly testing me on a project they were struggling with which was a PTO internal application. Building complex financial systems is really boring so the way I approached this interview is to be loose, humorous and a bit informal to balance out the rigid structure. At my previous job that was rewarded.
They seem extremely unhappy. Please, don't take yourself so damn seriously. And also don't tell candidates that your client sucks. How stupid can you be? And... don't say that there is no vacation time over and over again and expect to attract talent. So goofy. Stay away from this place.
