The interview process with HR was fairly standard and lasted about an hour. The questions were typical and mostly focused on the role and company overview. I was told that I seemed like a strong candidate, but they needed to consult with the hiring manager before moving forward.
Two weeks later, I received a rejection email stating they were looking for someone "more technical." This was surprising, as I was never given a technical interview or assessment.
Overall, the process was professional but lacked transparency regarding evaluation criteria. Based on the interview I had, the company offers a standard benefits package, but compensation appears to be on the lower end, so I wasn’t too disappointed by the outcome.
