Candidatei-me online. O processo levou 1 semana. Fui entrevistado pela Lakeshore Recycling Systems (Joliet, IL) em out. de 2025
Entrevista
A week after I applied I had a phone interview. I have 10 plus years experience in the transportation business leading a union company. I was told I was would have a second interview with the district manager. Nothing was setup. That was a month ago, no calls no emails, no communication. Bad business and unprofessional. Would not recommenced this company to anyone.

Entrevista
I interviewed with Lakeshore Recycling Systems for a network engineering position and went through three rounds of interviews. Each round was handled fairly well, and the interviewers were professional and engaging. However, after completing the 3rd round of interviews, I received no updates for over a week.
I had to initiate follow-up communication myself, and it took another full week after that just to be told they had chosen another candidate. For a process that spanned multiple rounds and required significant preparation and time investment, the post-interview communication was subpar.
It’s disappointing when companies can’t close the loop respectfully, especially with candidates who made it deep into the process. A timely and transparent update should be the bare minimum.

Questions were fairly straight forward regarding my experience and what I did in my past roles.

Entrevista
I applied for the Manager, Credit & Collections role in early 2025 and underwent a six-interview process, including meetings with the hiring manager (twice) and four C-level executives. Feedback was overwhelmingly positive—I was told I was a top finalist (down to myself and one other candidate) and that my 15+ years of experience was an excellent fit.
However, after being informed a decision was imminent, I received radio silence for a week, followed by a vague voicemail stating they were “moving in another direction with other candidates.” When I requested feedback (via email and phone), I received no response.
Note for candidates: The company is primarily owned by a private equity firm, and the C-suite leadership team has since completely turned over. While the interviewers were professional, the lack of follow-through post-rejection suggests cultural growing pains. If you proceed, be prepared for a lengthy process with unclear communication at the finish line.
