Only did the initial screening interview. Asked at the end of the interview if anything would keep me from moving to the next step and they said they enjoyed the conversation and doesn't see why I wouldn't go to the next, but then I didn't make the next round.

Tell me about a time you had to make a relationship right with the customer?

Fairly simple questions. Tell me about a time when XYZ. I thought the recruiter interview was thorough as well. However this is where the quality stopped. The recruiter goes cold, or isn’t keeping up with the process, and doesn’t schedule the interview with the hiring manager. In fact, I didn’t hear anything from the recruiter from this point on. I ended up speaking with the hiring manager and we had a good secondary interview.
During the interview the hiring manager will cover the nitty gritty of the job. Specifically they’ll go into detail about how they operate in the winter, which I think is necessary. They require you to work potentially 12-20 hours straight managing sub contractors taking care of sites that cannot go down because of snow. I appreciate how upfront they are about those expectations. But administratively speaking the lack of recruiter consistently turned me off. If you can’t get the basics right, I cannot expect you to get anything more meaningful right.

I was contacted by recruiter for initial screening. I was then able to have an in person interview with a local Branch Manager and Market Manager regarding the position. Third interview was with a Territory Manager.
