Candidatei-me online. O processo levou 4 semanas. Fui entrevistado pela Landmark Medical Center em nov. de 2024

      Entrevista

Interview process was easy. I initially spoke to a person in HR over the phone, then met with the hiring manager in person for an interview. I initially accepted the offer, however the onboarding process was beyond cumbersome and frustrating. After going through over an hour's worth of paperwork online (including a 50 question test on their 13 page employee onboarding document), 3 separate trips to their employee health screening clinic, and providing a UA, having blood drawn, and a physical, I learned (only after reviewing and specifically asking HR) that health benefits would not start for essentially 3 months. Three months! For a part-time job! And none of my time or mileage was going to be compensated. Red flags. So many red flags. All way beyond what is required by other hospitals/healthcare organizations.

      Pergunta 1

Quick overview of experience, mostly discussed how flexible my schedule would need to be to accommodate the hospital's needs and why I was interested in the position.

Candidatei-me online. Fui entrevistado pela Landmark Medical Center (Woonsocket, RI) em out. de 2025

      Entrevista

I started a phone screening on Monday, eager with genuine interest in the role and a desire to contribute meaningfully to the community. However, I found aspects of our interaction troubling. The repeated inquiries into personal matters—such as my health history, communication challenges, and employment gap—felt intrusive and inappropriate, especially after I had already acknowledged and explained the temporary difficulty. I was seeking an interview for a professional opportunity, not to be placed under scrutiny. Attempts to correct or challenge my lived experience during our conversation were disheartening. I’ve navigated a significant medical event and recovery, and have worked diligently to prepare for reentry into the workforce with the goal of supporting underserved populations. That commitment deserves respect. For me, this work is more than a job—it’s a reflection of deeply held values and a commitment to advocacy.
