Entrevista
Had an initial informational interview with the coordinator of the summer intern program. Questions like, why I was interested in branding, what I was doing in college. She explained some of the projects and accounts that were going through the office at the time, and listened to my reaction to that.
Second interview was with the head of HR and was a probe on my skills from past internships and various projects I had done at school.
2 interviews, about a week apart. The first was with 2 team members, the second with one more senior member. I was informed about who I was to talk with about 3 days before the interview took place.

Entrevista
I emailed in my résumé, cover letter, and (optional) work samples, and within three weeks received an email requesting a first-round interview with a Senior Strategist. The second round was with a Client Manager about a week and a half later, and the third and final round was with both a Senior Director and HR Coordinator a little over two weeks after that.
All three interviews were conducted over the phone, and all of the interviewers were very friendly and engaged. It was clear that they enjoy what they do and want to see the same level of interest and enthusiasm from job candidates.
I'd recommend that applicants demonstrate their competency by making thoughtful observations about current branding issues and by communicating what they know about Landor specifically, not brand consulting firms in general. Company leaders regularly contribute to business publications and other news media, so this shouldn't be difficult.

I sent my resume for the internship and was contacted first by the intern coordinator and later by HR. Both behavioral and experiential-based interviews. They asked about my past internships, why I was interested in branding, about classes, etc. HR also seemed interested in what other types of companies I was applying to, if any.
