Submitted my resume online through a job posting (linkedin or glassdoor, not sure exactly). I got a response from a recruiter in November asking for a salary range, a writing sample, and a time for a brief phone chat later in the week. I responded to the recruiter, Elise, with everything needed. I even included several writing samples, although I asked for more clarification on exactly what she was looking for. Last thing in my response was a date and time she requested for a call. No response. 2 days later, I sent a follow up about the quick phone chat to see if we were still on. No response. The time had passed, no phone call on the proposed time. So I sent another follow up about any other time that may work for her. She responded for a time early next week. I responded asking to push the time by 30 mins, as well as any other day I'd be available. No response. Over 1 month later, I received a generic, auto-generated response saying I wasn't a good fit. Poor communication on the recruiter - complete waste of my time despite my open communication and flexibility.
