First invited to a digital interview via email. The interview involved a few usual interview questions and a interpretation part. After I completed that I received a short phone call from the recruiter. Not many interview questions were asked here, the recruiter explained the role and company policies, confirmed some information etc. I was then told that there would be a workshop that I have to attend (remotely) and then there would be another automated language test over the phone after that. I agreed to attend the workshop the following week but received a phone call one week later (before the workshop) from the recruiter where I was told that due to some recent changes, they were no longer hiring Cantonese Interpreters in Canada.
