Recruiter is very petty and unprofessional. They posted ad on Craiglist and then when I applied, she told me to wait for first review, second review. First review was all about her talking how much she love it here, she been here for 20 years etc, then she schedule a second review. When i got to the second review she said she was gonna go on vacation so even if I review now, there is no point because if I do take the test ( UNTIL THIS MOMENT, I know there is a TEST because she never said anything about a test, only her positive experience all along). If i take the test now, there is no point since she on vacation for 3 weeks and she can't forward the result anyway to employment??? Then she came back on 4th of JULY. IT'S A HOLIDAY and she emailed me expect me to give her a call immediately? Because I was planning to do this part time, so I was having my 4th of july week off from another job and I am like let's set it for next week. That next week, she called, she mockingly imply "WOW, IT'S BEEN A WHILE" and she asked me did we go over your schedule? What happened, etc. Then her review is more like trick question with a bunch of attitudes, like interpret a patient that have 100 different disease and just throw random signs and symptoms on the 50th question when her disease was being asked on the 1st question. She made it seem like it's a super serious deal when it's just a part time interpreting job. And good luck finding someone who is that medically fluent at two languages, English and Chinese, etc that could remember all those disease, symptoms, vocab, telephone number, street addrees, a whole long story to English and then a bunch back to their native language for 13 an hour. Even a Mc Donald's in California pay this price for their worker. Base in California and expect to give Bilingual MEDICAL Interpreter 13 an hour?. It's customer service, medical terms and fluency in two languages at the same time. Good luck. Please avoid guys. I know working from home is attractive but you would have no management and recruiting treat you like trash. Like that evil witch always after

I received emails asking to complete one way interview and a language proficiency test, after I submitted the results a recruiter contacted me to schedule an online zoom interview, now I’m waiting for the next steps.
