I first spoke with a recruitment individual over the phone. It was an easy interview if you have applicable experience and we discussed clients and company culture. Then spoke with a Talent Director via Zoom.

Entrevista
I was contacted almost immediately after applying to an open AE position to set up an initial interview with a recruiter. The recruiter call was not only extremely long (over an hour) and consisted of rapid fire questions about my experience, but the recruiter was seemingly uniterested in everything I had to say, knew nothing about the job or company culture when I had the floor for a mere 2 minutes to ask questions questions, which ultimately caused me to be really turned off by the opening following our call. Plus, I was flat out hung up on mid-way through the call as I guess she was being kicked out of a conference room or something - so bizarre. I was honestly shocked when I received a note asking to set up a time to take their writing test.
I decided to get past my strange first call with the recruiter and take a stab at the test, because I thought Launch Squad looked like a company I could really thrive in. I took the test on a weekend day and the recruiter sent my test 30 mins late. Though she adjusted the timing, this was super frustrating as I was already taking 2 hours out of my weekend to take this test and there wasn't much apology to follow her lack of timeliness. The test was extremely easy - writing two pitches for a fake client - and I was luckily able to finish within an hour. I heard from the recruiter that she would be in touch early the following week once they had a chance to review. It has now been almost two weeks, I have not heard a peep (not even a response to my follow up notes checking in) which I find to be an extremely rude way to treat your candidates, particularly those who have already put a lot of time into the interviewing process.
My advice to LaunchSquad is to stop wasting people's time in interviews and writing tests if you're not interested or ready to hire from the start. Based on other reviews, it seems like this happens to most people who interview here, which is unprofessional and plain disrespectful to candidates.

After an informal conversation with someone who works there, I did several phone interviews (2 with HR, one with a partner, one with some of the people I would be working with). I did a timed writing test where I completed a mock press release where they emphasized originality and creativity. I then did an in-person interview they flew me to, then they took about two weeks to give me an offer.
