The first interview was with the maintenance supervisor. It was very informal. He just looked over my application and asked a few questions to make sure I knew what I was talking about. I was called back a week later for a second interview with the Apartment Manager. The second interview was a little more formal however I could tell she knew nothing about maintenance.Another week passed and i was called in for a drug test and told how much the pay would be. It was less than the advertised amount that was in there ad, however i needed a job so i accepted the offer and was sent to have a drug test. Over two weeks passed and i had not hear anything from them. I called but kept being told that it was the main office taking so long. I followed up with the drug testing company on my on since i was told they havent gotten it back and was told that I did pass the drug screen and the results were sent to them. After a few more calls to the office manager and approx. 5 visits i was finally told they chose not to hire me. That was time i could have been looking for a job instead it was wasted because they couldnt just be honest.
