Candidatei-me por indicação de um funcionário. O processo levou 4 semanas. Fui entrevistado pela Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory (Livermore, CA) em mar. de 2023
Entrevista
I had a first interview with someone at the NIF for a software developer position. The interview went pretty smoothly and wasn't too detailed or technical; we mostly talked about a broad overview of the position and my background and experiences. After the interview, he told me that LLNL would reach out to me in about a week to let me know if I made it to the next round of interviews. However, 3 weeks passed without receiving any response. After these 3 weeks, I sent a followup email to ask if they had any update, and currently have still not received any reply several days later. LLNL's behavior on their part to completely ghost a candidate after already conducting an interview is shocking, disrespectful, and extremely unprofessional. It's even worse when you realize that they use taxpayer dollars to pay their employees to interview potential candidates, just to ghost them afterwards.

I had three back-to-back interviews with multiple team & project leaders. LLNL has plenty of internal employee mobility, so ensuring compatibility across various groups makes a lot of sense.
The interviews mostly consisted of a discussion of my past experiences. One was technical.

Was onsite for an ACE interview. Interviewed with 7 teams for an entire day where each team focused on different aspects that the lab did. I was asked several questions about my background, specifically the projects I worked on in the past. In addition, I had a couple of small coding/whiteboard questions but no more than 3. Not each team asked coding questions. Some focused more on personality and past projects.
