Candidatei-me online. O processo levou 4 semanas. Fui entrevistado pela LeanTaaS (Atlanta, GA) em abr. de 2026
Entrevista
Interview process was fine. 4 stages-screening, behavioral, technical, and a take home presentation. I did okay but obviously didn’t get the job. The part that was the worst though was while waiting to hear a decision they reached out to schedule a call with me only for it to be a rejection. It’s fine to offer a chance for feedback but you can send that via email. The anxiety and hope for an offer is way worse rejected a scheduled call.

Entrevista
I found LeanTaaS to be a very responsive employer, with regular updates throughout the hiring process (as someone who has applied for, like, a lot of jobs this year, they were far and away the most communicative). The entire process from application to offer took roughly three months and included a phone screen, panel interview, and take-home project and presentation. The take-home project was not difficult, but did take roughly 8 hours. I came from a very different professional background, which didn't seem to be a problem as long as I described how my skillet was transferrable.

How would you explain [product] to someone with no data analysis background?
Candidatei-me online. O processo levou 5 semanas. Fui entrevistado pela LeanTaaS em fev. de 2025
Entrevista
Initial phone screen with director (30 mins), followed by three round of panel interviews (1.5 hours total back-to-back), a take home assignment (8+ hours), and a panel presentation (45 mins).
LeanTaas had a lot of data analysis expectations for this role that were not made clear throughout the interview process. I was very transparent that I was not a data analyst from the initial interview, and they continued to move me forward in the process. The take home assignment requirement is essentially to recreate their technology platform from raw data they provide and draw conclusions. This is not a great indication of whether someone would make a good PICS manager because the data for the clients is already in the system; a better take home assignment would be to send screenshots of the iQueue system and ask what conclusions can be drawn from the data provided.
Overall, this was a very odd hiring process that lasted 5 weeks and took 11+ hours of time, only to get an auto-generated rejection in the end. I think LeanTaas could use some restructuring to the hiring process that shows a little more respect for candidates’ time.
