I was contacted by one of their recruiters about 2.5 months ago (early June 2017). They requested a copy of my updated resume and I never heard back from the original recruiter to discuss the position. A few weeks later another recruiter from Legrand contacted me to set up a phone screening (late June).
The phone screening was full of very standard questions and a few others that set off a few red flags for me (i.e. who else are you interviewing with). The type of questions they focused on were mostly behavioral. The screener (a recruiter) did not have any details about the position so that was not exactly helpful or conducive to me asking any questions of my own. At the end I was told that a decision as to whether or not I would be asked for an in-person interview would be made in 7-12 business days.
A few days after this timeframe had passed I called the person who screened me to get an update and there was none so I just took it to mean that I had been passed over and forgot about it. Flash forward almost 2 months (late August 2017) and I received a phone call from yet another of their recruiters to set up an in-person interview.
I agreed to go in a week later as they requested (would have been tomorrow) and today in the morning I got a message that the interview had been cancelled because they decided to go in "another direction with the position." No clue what that means, but they had 2 months to decide to go in another direction so this has been a complete waste of time.
This was the most unprofessional, disorganized interview process I have ever been through and that is saying a lot. If this is reflective of their work environment, I think I dodged a bullet.
Fiz uma entrevista na empresa Legrand (Costa Mesa, CA).
Entrevista
Easy questions many interviews. I had 5 interviews for the role with peers managers and internal clients. The process was fast and I received feedback during the hole process. Psicometric tests were used as well.
