First interview with President/CCO was casual, but very straightforward (or so I thought). First interview conversation included talk about salary, benefits package, etc. There was the impression of an urgent hire. Second interview (less than a week later) was with with VP (married leadership duo), which dove further into work ethic/team dynamic. Next was an interview with the Interactive Art Director, to discuss the translation of the design team's work to implementation by the developers. Final words from president were team review and quick follow-up.
It took two weeks before the operations manager responded to a follow-up inquiry. More misleading promises of feedback/decision. Even sent a letter of continued interest 6 weeks later. Not a word from any staff member. Highly disappointing for a company with < 30 employees and an intimate open floor plan.
Where is the communication & transparency? Perhaps Leibowitz would benefit from hiring an effective HR professional.
FYI, to date, the position is not filled.
