I interviewed for a business analyst position for a federal government project in the Washington, DC metro region. First round interview was over the phone with one project team member. Interview was a mix of questions about past experience (things that are on your resume) and more theoretical questions (see Interview Questions below for more details). I was invited to a second round in person interview with some other project team members, but at the last minute the interview was cancelled because they had interviewed and hired someone else for the position. I would be far more understanding of this situation if the project itself was cancelled, had its budget cut, etc. But for Leidos to say that they're interested in you as a candidate, schedule an interview, and then to cancel the interview because they've gone ahead and hired someone else is very disrespectful of the time and energy I put into the interview process (preparing for the interview, the actual interview, etc.). This experience raises questions about whether one can believe what Leidos says during the recruitment process and about how interested Leidos really is in any particular candidate.
