      Entrevista

      Started with a screening interview and then a take-home case study, then I went on to meet the team lead. A little concerning with how the interviewer answered my question about company diversity, basically said the company itself is 'naturally' diverse and there are no particular efforts to make marginalized employees feel comfortable. Their statement about making no particular efforts towards diversity was an ick.

      Thx for sharing your interview experience with us. We appreciate your input, as it helps us to continuously improve our recruitment approach, where we aim to appreciate and acknowledge the efforts of all candidates and set you up for success. Our recruitment process on average can range in time depending on the market dynamics, quality of candidates and local market.       Entrevista

      This process took a little over a month. It started off with a phone screening with a recruiter and then was given a take home case assignment that consisted of a few SQL questions and a handful of customer service scenarios. The next interview was with the support team lead going over the case assignment which was easy enough. This led into the next interview which was with one of the cofounders and the support team lead. I was told I would receive an update soon early next week. However, they laid off their recruiter and forgot to tell me I was not selected for the next stage once I finally emailed them a whole week and some change afterwards. Every stage of this process was long and dragged out. I had to email them after each stage for updates. The correspondence was just terrible.
