I was firtly selected for a group session by the IEFP (portugal's employment institute) where they sorted out within the interested candidates, the one that would require prior training and those promptly available and ready for work.
Next followed a face-to-face interview with the department lead developer and the head of hr, where they explained the core of the work that was to be done and asked me to do a small written programming test (on paper), which I accomplished fairly easily.
Finally there was a third face-to-face meeting with only the head of hr, where I was given an salary and contract offer.
