Candidatei-me online. O processo levou 1 dia. Fui entrevistado pela Liberty Hardware em mai. de 2025
Entrevista
The interview process started with about a 20 minute conversation with a recruiter who promptly scheduled an interview with the Human Resources Director.
The interview with the HRD appeared to be straight-forward. No real curve ball questions. It appeared my experience aligned with what they were seeking in the position. The HRD indicated that she would like to have me out to the facility to meet the team and tour the distribution center. She did not say "may" have me out. She never said "if we decide to move forward in the process." She had clearly indicated that I would be hearing back from them in the coming week.
No phone call or email was ever received. After a week, I reached out to the recruiter. I had noticed the job had been reposted on LinkedIn. I respectfully asked for an update on my candidacy. I received nothing. No formal communication. No telephone call. No email. I was simply ghosted.
This was quite disheartening, although it appears to be the norm with many companies and recruiters these days.
I would have appreciated a simple email or update to let me know they were moving in another direction at the very least. It also was, in my opinion, disingenuous for the HRD to indicate that they were going to have me out to "meet the team" and "tour the distribution facility."
As Human Resources Professionals, we should all hold ourselves to a higher standard.

Spoke with HR Director and had a very insightful, casual, but thoughtful discussion regarding my qualifications and experience. She gave me plenty of time to ask questions and was very forthcoming with information about the company and the position.

Have you ever tried to promote a subordinate to a higher position and was it successful? If so, how did you work the process and what made the promotion successful?
Scheduling with the company was simple and smooth. The interviewers were nice and professional. There were two people. One interviewer toured the showroom with me after the interview, showing me their products.
