Completed online application at company website and was then prompted to take assessment. After assessment I received an e-mail about a day or so later trying to schedule a phone interview with the hiring manager. The hiring manager called me, late, and was rushed throughout the entire interview. In the background I could hear others talking to him and there would be 30 to 45 second pauses between my answer and his next question. It sounded almost as if the person was driving in a car with others. Clearly his attention was not on the interview. I was asked zero question that would be pertinent to this particular job. Clearly this interviewer was not prepared for the interview and the following day I received the rote "we were impressed with your credentials, but, blah blah blah. This was a waste of time and I am bothered that the interviewer was not read.
