Applied, Recruiter reached out and set up a time to talk. Normal behavioral questions, asked about my background and interest in the opportunity. They then followed up and set up a hiring manager interview. Oh my goodness. The hiring manager brought a senior developer along. Senior developer was knowledgeable, smart, asked good questions. I knew as soon as I met the hiring manager that this was not a fit. Was asked very generic questions "tell me about a time". Hiring manager (a Director no less) did not seem to have any technical experience. Only asked very generic questions.
The kicker is I was asked how I have helped and worked with people that are more oppressed than me. Oh boy. STAY AWAY from this company. I would RUN. The interesting thing is that I have worked with people among the poorest countries and areas of the world, so I talked about that. I guess it wasn't enough.
