I applied online, and got an invitation to an interview.
The interview was overall very weird. The CEO wanted me to introduce myself, after which I narrated the relevance of my university studies in business and marketing, as well as 3 very relevant job experiences totaling 3 years of work experience.
After that, the CEO said: "Let me tell you why I think you don't have what it takes to succeed in this role". Wow, ok... Then he went on to claim that my studies and experience were "irrelevant" in the face of this position, and that they will not help me in any way. He made a ton of assumptions in this "rant" about my personality and experience without actually wanting to discuss any of it in any way. It was very intrusive behavior.
We did not discuss anything related to the actual job tasks, which was very weird. At the end he requested references from me.
After all, I decided not to pursue this position due to this interview experience. I'm confident that taking this opportunity would have been a huge mistake personally.
