Unfortunately, I have had a negative experience following the first stage interview, as the company has failed to respond to any of my attempts to follow up. After the initial interview, I reached out to Lightspeed via email and LinkedIn messages to inquire about the status of my application and to request feedback on my interview performance. However, I have not received any response from the company. This lack of communication has left me feeling frustrated and uncertain about the outcome of my application. As a candidate, all I was seeking was a simple update on whether my interview went well or not, in order to help me improve my interview skills for future opportunities. The initial approach from Lightspeed seemed positive, and the interviewer appeared willing to progress my application or at least inform me if it wasn't the case. However, the subsequent silence has left me disappointed and confused. Effective communication is crucial throughout the interview process, and the lack of response from Lightspeed has left a negative impression. It is disheartening when a company that initially shows interest in a candidate fails to provide any feedback or closure after the interview stage. This lack of communication reflects poorly on the professionalism and consideration of the hiring process at Lightspeed. I believe that providing timely and constructive feedback to candidates, regardless of the outcome, is essential for their growth and development. It not only helps candidates improve their interview skills but also demonstrates respect for their time and effort invested in the process. I hope that Lightspeed can take this feedback into consideration and work towards improving their interview process, particularly in terms of communication and providing feedback to candidates.
