      Candidatei-me online. O processo levou 3 semanas. Fiz uma entrevista na empresa Lightspeed.

      3 rounds: initial screen with recruiter, first panel interview, and finally, a second panel interview which includes a mock 15 minute discovery which they call a demo. First of all, I found the recruiter I dealt with to be unprofessional and inexperienced. She was late to the initial call and did not apologize. Throughout the process, she gave me conflicting information, did not want to give me time to prepare between the rounds, there was literally no feedback at any point of the 3 week process and was slow to respond. She really made the process feel inauthentic, confusing and rushed. I had no issues with the 2nd panel interview and advanced quickly. However, when I reached the 3rd and final interview, I found the expectation and format to be a bit silly. They expect you to conduct a thorough discovery in 15 minutes, their instructions were "use what you can find on the Internet." Despite investing the time to understand the company better, the role play was odd, and was really centred on price objection. The 2 managers on the panel kept giving conflicting answers to my questions. They did not agree with each other at all, and I could tell their styles were quite different. The 3rd manager on the panel was based in the US, spoke only one time, and didn't seem to have a clue of what was going on, other than she was a director. Why was she there? No idea. I don't think she even knew. Usually it takes a series of meetings or at least longer than 15 mins to uncover all these nuances/prospect pain/opp for upsell etc but they expected it all to be done in 15 mins. I also found them vague when answering specific questions of the sales cycle and neither of them could give me the same description of the D2D there. Their explanation of how a rep would hit OTE was also vague. After the role play, they ask very basic (and cliche) situational questions. To get an offer here, I really think you need to either come from the industry itself (POS/Retail) or have worked with one of their competitors. Don't waste your time.

      Swift and efficient interview process. Every stage was clear and straight forward with a fast response time afterword. Every person I spoke to seemed to want to learn about me and my fit, but also seemed to enjoy their position which painted the company in a warm light.

      Entrevista

      The interview process at Lightspeed was every salesperson's dream. Recruiter screen to final interview was fast, without long delays between interviews, and efficient, without unnecessary steps. The primary recruiter, Kim, was very easy to talk to, transparent throughout the process, and quick to follow up after each interview.
